Okay so I've been hanging out with a guy lately who I have known for about a year so far. Anyways Im starting to become attracted to him and wasn't necessarily attracted to him right away when we met. He is kind of nerdy and sometimes can be weird but once I got to hang out with him more he was actually really interesting to me and I was impressed on how intelligent he really was. He's an electrical engineering major and I think he tries to show off his smarts to me explaining circuits and what not because he likes me. So now that its summer we've been hanging out even more like watching movies in his apartment or going out to dinner. i was born with Optic nerve hypoplasia in my right eye, doctors thought it was a lazy eye until i was 7, the doctor determined that my optic nerve was too thin and my vision would not get better. I wanted to ask if there is anyway could ever see in my right eye normally.I have perfect vision in my left eye. When i close my left eye i can see with my right eye a little bit so that means it is not completely blind. Though the vision in my right eye is darkened and i can't read letters and words on somethings unless they are super big. I still have depth perception somehow and i wanted to get my vision to normal because i wanted to serve in the United States Marine Corps like my father did. is there any other treatment out there other than "Stem Cell"? I know about stem cell , i would gladly have it done but it costs 20,000 - 30,000 dollars for one single treatment and it is only in china ,puerto rico and mexico. and there is a danger of DNA damage. so what can i do?

Strange dream i always had as a child. Little help?

Moving made my life really hard, don't know what to do now?

This is probably not going to help or it will take a very long time to take into consideration seeing as how I'm just a 15 year old boy who doesn't like the thought of others being in pain but I have a little story. It all started with the shed in my back yard. I've seen smaller kids get up there (I wasn't really able to get up there :/) But eventually I gained the upper body strength I needed to pull myself up. I was proud of myself. Then I realized how close the top of the house was (Not really a house just a trailer). So I decided I was going to leap onto the top. I knew I could do it, but I was afraid at first. I actually didn't jump until a few days after making the decision. I was really scared, but when I did it. When I landed, I felt a sense of achievement. It felt great. I would've never felt that way had I not taken the leap. What I'm trying to say is after I did what I had to do to accomplish my goal. This dog has food, water and shelter. Even so, its been extremely hot out. 95 to 100 degrees.Theres also been some severe storms. the dog paces nervously when I come over to give it water. I am not allowed to let him out.he has bit someone before. I just put a hose in to make sure he has water. He has an automatic feeder full of food in there.He's not so bad that they can't be around him. I have seen the dog recently run around the front yard for about a minute. I think he just has potential to bite. The dogs demeaner seems playful and sweet at times(seeing him from across the street) but when he's in the fenced in area he paces and seems off. Only way I can think to describe it. just feel like somethings not right with the dog. Probably why they have him back there. I feel bad for this dog but I'm not sure if I'm worried about nothing.The caged in thing just seems bad for him but I think the owners feel they have no other choice. They are nice people. I just wonder if they may not realize it.They probably do spend time with it and play with him in the backyard and take him places for all I know. Hi. I have chronic Lyme, and unfortunately am too electrosensitive & chemically sensitive to go anywhere, so I haven't been to a doc in like 6 months. I'm 26 and last year, around this time, a spot on my shin got very itchy & a skin tag grew there, literally overnight. My dermatologist told me not to worry. But then, last week, a mole that has been on my arm for my entire life got itchy, turned black & came off when I scratched it. It's not re-pigmenting. There's a bump left there; a scar that's bigger than the mole was. I scar very easily now. Even my bug bites turn into scars, even when I don't scratch them. I'm hoping that that, as well as the loss & gain of moles/skin tags are related to the Lyme & not cancer-related. My dad says he develops new skin tags all the time, but he's never had any moles just get inflamed & fall off. And yes, the one that came off is still itchy, but not painful.

I have a hair consultation tomorrow and I'm so worried they're gonna shout at me :| Well, I've been reading up a heard that if you wet your hair, smother it in mayonnaise and leave it in for at least 30-60 minutes it really does help. But more permanently doing a hot oil treatment is the best. V05 do a deep nourishing hot oil treatment with the oil tubes and instructions, you just heat them with hot water and leave them on for 5 minutes. I will be trying this myself as the tubes are very cheap and lots of people are raving about them and saying how amazing they are. But you need to go to a hair salon and see what they suggest 'cos they see this sorta thing all the time. If your hair is damaged stay away from the straighteners! It will make it a million times worse and bits of your hair could break off. If you cant get the v05 oil tubes then olive oil does the same thing. Just heat it up and massage it in. The reason your hair is dry is because it has hardly any natural oils in it, so if you use another oil to help revitalize it. coconut, Moroccan and jojoba oil are really good too but olive oil is the easiest to get hold of in short time. If you're not sure google how long to heat it and stuff. good luck xx

i just recently got the keratin hair treatment done and it was great. but instead of the blowout i got the silk. it makes your hair soft and non frizzy. my hair has usually tight frizzy curly and it was course but with the Brazilian silk my hair is soft and smooth. it is wavy but only a little bit and Ive had it for about 3 weeks. so i recommend asking your hair dresser about the Brazilian silk. good luck (:

i get perms all the time. you dont need a check up for a perm and if you have straight hair you dont really need a perm because perm are really for people with naturally curly hair. i dont think you would like it beacuse it wouldnt do much if your hair is naturally staright. if you want curls you can go to the hair store and ask for the shampoo that makes you hair curl.

Should i ask for a c section?

My first daughter who is 4 was born via an emergency c-section under general as she was large/ op and stuck. The entire labour was slow 2.5 days and all chemically done (eg induction / drip/ breaking waters) she was not visible enough to even attempt ventuous/ forceps. I was due on the 11th of June with my second (still no sign) had one "not very good" stretch and sweep and was 1 cm and partially effaced. However my cervix is posteria and slants to the left quite drammatically. On my return for a second stretch and sweep the midwife despite alot of determination couldnt reach itr at all!!. Originally my wishes were for a vbac as i hate the thought of uncessary surgery. Two consultants said that this was 70 -80% chance of sucess as it was due to the babies possition last time. They said that they would be able to use the drip to assist with contractions and break my waters. Howver the final consultant (the head one) has "advised" section on my notes and says they would not even consider drugs to help my progress. That they may break my wters but with the position of my cervix to date it would be impossible to do so. I feel that i have progressed blindly to nearly 42 weeks under the false hope of a natural birth yet now that seems unlikely. That had they of said they could not intervene in the first place i would maybe have elected. do i speak to them tomorrow? i dont want to go through the labour knowing it is likely to end in section when i could have a planned rather than emergency.

Is paint stripping hazardous to your health?

We just bought an old house that has a lot of lead paint. In my son's room, the lead paint is peeling and cracking off the moldings and we are deciding to have it stripped. I was told they are going to chemically strip it and was wondering if this is hazardous to your health? We will be moving into the house about 2 weeks after they strip the paint and then paint over it with a non-VOC paint. My son is only 4 months old and the fumes really worry me, but then again, so does the lead chipping paint. ARGH... any one know anything about this stuff? 3rd degree burn ????????!!?

2 years ago, I had gotten my hair chemically straighten AKA a relaxer. The lady who had done it for me got in on my neck & ears, causing 2nd degree burn (bloody scars, moist, etc) . Now it's horrible it's extremely dry, bloody sometimes , I think it's 3rd degree burn now. It's horrible , & because it occurred on my neck I'm not very comfortable with wearing my hair up. Somethings wrong with my ipod?

Every time I plug my ipod touch into my ihome and press the play button( on the ihome ) it will play out of the Ipod's speaker and not the ihome's. I tried another docking pad and it does the same thing. Everything is plugged in and normal, it suddenly did this, because it worked fine before. Bump in the front left side of my inner wall?

I would get checked asap, but that's just me, once I know something is there and I can't figure it out I want to know asap! Do you shave? My friend once had a bump on her inner lip that we thought was an STD but it turned out to be an ingrown hair! So it could be a number of things, but if it was me I would get checked out sooner rather than later. That way if it is an STD or infection it can be treated and cleared up right away a lot of damage can be done if waiting longer.

Ladies, was i a bad bf ?

I have this ex gf who for some reason really really hates, and to be honest, as much as i would like to think that i was a great bf, i can honestly say that i made a lot of mistakes while i was with her. First of, i disrespected her by insulting her faith. Apparently she really holds this against me... and as much as i understand that people have a right to believe what ever they want, i am a scientist. I know what i know... not what some book says... There were also other issues, in that i wound up lieing to her a lot because was so insecure. I honestly felt like i wasnt not allowed to talk to any other women. She would check my facebook and myspace pages, and anyone girl that commented on my page.. she wanted to know who she was .. where we met.... yada yada yada..... I actually even lost contact with one of my best friends, who is a girl, and yes.. i did have a huge thing for her in the past....but she never felt the same way so i had let her go..... and i was honest about this with her in the begining....!!!! but that didint help.. .. Its definitely a piss off when you guys all think hes all terrible now, and you forget about his past work, hes a world class hip hop artist and you know it. Yes he fell off, but not lyrically. Woke up to strange light figure in my room?

I woke up abruptly last night at around 2:30 am because I had gotten a text and the ringer was really loud under my pillow.. and im a light sleeper anyways, and right when i opened my eyes the first thing i saw was in the far corner of my room there were i'm guessing.. about 15 balls of light forming a perfect circle and inside were even smaller balls of light forming a smaller inner circle.. the big ones were i guess.. about a dimes size? my room is painted a dark color and i have complete black drapes, my room is in the back of the house, no street lights COMPLETE black room at night. it wasn't something i could have just .. seen because of opening my eyes from sleep.. because it wasn't just the circle figure.. it was actually bright enough to leave a glow in the corner of my room behind it... it was there for about 10 to 15 seconds and then.. gone it didn't fade it was just gone. every night sense i've had this room (for about 3 weeks now) i've felt different always like somethings there. always. i have two cats and they started meowing like crazy outside my room during and after the light was there.. honestly i don't know if this part has anything to do with it.. but the sequence of it all just is too strange to think it doesn't.. after the light went away my dad got up(which never happens in the middle of the night) and he went downstairs for a good ten minutes. he was completely silent.. no doors opened like the fridge or garage or anything no cupboards nothing no footsteps, and i just sat waiting for him to make a noise or anything.. and then i just heard him walking up the stairs. his beds really squeaky like real bad and you can tell if somebody sits on it or actually gets in it, and he just sat, at this point its all still pitch black in my house and then he gets up again and he goes over to my sisters door and stays there (mind you she has a friend sleeping over and their both obviously sleeping, so creepy) .. and then he went to bed. i asked him what he was doing last night and he was like what are you talking about? so idk could have been sleepwalking. the light part in my room was too organized and something other than a bunch of orbs, it was something else. im sure of it. i want to know what this all was.

I completely agree!! I'm actually from Europe and I was always raised with permission to drink alcohol. In my country kids start drinking even before they are teenagers, and even though the drinking law is 16-18 depending on which part of Europe you're in, nobody really pays any attention to it. For example, you can do to a mall and see a buch of 16 year olds enjoying beers without anyone stopping them. Of course if the age is lowered some young people will be stupid and abuse their rights to drink, but that's just because in America they are not usually brought up with the permission to drink. I've been drinking regularly since the 5th grade (of course back then I didn't drink as much as I do now), and an 17 now. I don't feel like it has had negative effects on me, neither physically or negatively, seeing that I have grown and developed just fine and manage to get great grades at school. Of course the age should be lowered though; if we're adults and can join the army, smoke, have bank acccounts, pay taxes, vote, etc, then why not? Sooo i just finished 3 weeks of working out.. and not seeing results. i just want to know when i will start seeing all my hard work start to pay off. Soo i pretty much workout at night and occasionally ill work out in the afternoon-when i wake up- it is summer. 3 of those days i do Strength training 3 sets each. Then finish off with 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. And then 2 of those days i do 30 minutes yoga and then 30 minutes of the elliptical. Is there any really good exercises i should try? I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but i feel like i really need to, to feel more confident with myself. How can i melt off this fat Ive put on? Also, i don't really know where to start with my diet... i need help with that, and since it is summer its a bit hard to stay on track. BUT if i learn somethings- not just from what Google says then hopefully it will give me some confidence knowing that what i am doing is actually going to work.

i was born with Optic nerve hypoplasia in my right eye, doctors thought it was a lazy eye until i was 7, the doctor determined that my optic nerve was too thin and my vision would not get better. When i close my left eye i can see with my right eye a little bit so that means it is not completely blind. Chemically straightening hair help!!?

But, really research chemically straightening because it killed my hair and caused it to break off at the same rate it was growing making it appear like it wasn't growing. Also, when I was chemically relaxed my hair was just straight and frizzy unless I flat ironed it. It does nothing for your frizz so be aware of that.

Hello! I have long curly, frizzy hair that I usually pull back in a bun or straighten..but I do not like it! How do I get naturally straight hair?

I've been thinking about this for a while as I just recieved a hair straightener a month ago for my birthday and have been straightening my hair every two or three days. My doctor gave me Yaz two months ago to start taking for the birth control use itself. My whole life(20 yrs), I have had a very easy, short, light, painless cycle. I do feel blessed. Can a car water pump work intermittedly?

I have a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon that occasionally runs hot. The temp goes from normal to very hot in 2-3 minutes. I have installed a new thermostat, chemically flushed the radiator, the hoses are OK, no leaks. Now, the car is occasionally making a grinding noise that may be coming from the water pump or possibly the AC compressor. My grandson has the car at college and it is difficult to tell exactly what is going on with it over the phone. Although he is not certain, he thinks it only runs hot when the air conditioning is on. Personally, I doubt the AC has anything to do with it running hot. My guess is it is the water pump, however, it seems the pump would work or not work. Can it occasionally fail and return to working after the engine cools? When the car cools and the water is replaced, it may be OK for several>weeks. So... I have three questions: 1.) Can a water pump not work sometimes? 2.) Can the cooling system (AC compressor?) cause the car to run hot? 3.) If it's not 1.) or 2.) what could it be? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. if you are not 100% sure about cutting your hair i would say, wait a while. i and many people i know regret cutting their hair. if it is damaged try using some good deep conditioner and having a trim at the hair dressers before cutting yout hair really short. if you do decide to cut it short, and you regret it.. remember it will grow! maybe invest in some extensions if you really do not like your hair :)

You can't lighten hair naturally that has hair dye on it. Bleach is the only way, unless the purple you want is darker than your current hair color. If it is, just put the purple on without lightening. If its not, you'll have to bleach it out. But since you don't want it vibrant, you don't need to leave the bleach on very long.

Then when your straightening your hair put a comb in front of the straightener so that it combs through you hair as your going down your hair. It separates the hairs so that they actually straighten. Hi fellow seniors, are you fitter now than when you were in your twenties?

I do have more fits, but not more fit. All the aches and pains I had in my youth have multiplied. I used to work out at two different gyms up to a couple of years ago because of my arthritis and degenerative discs I can no longer do that. I do more than average exercise for my age because of all of the animals I have rescued along with stretching exercises I can do at home. I fear if I don't I may find soon I won't be able to move at all. With age comes health issues to many of us even though we have always eaten properly and tried our best to stay fit.

Well it sounds to me like you're probably going to get it soon! But you just need to remember to eat enough nutrition in the day because with out enough your body won't be able to have you period. Plan b pill...kind of worried (opinions please)?

So I've taken plan b twice with in two weeks. Me and my fiance had intercourse two weeks before the 2nd pill and the condom broke. Same the 2nd time. The first time I took plan be I had taken it the day my cycle was to start. In the process I had nausea and my period came 3 or 4 days after taken plan b. Curl enhancing cream/gels?

My hair is a mix of curly and wavy and its fluffy. I wanted either a perm or chemically straighten my hair (and my stylist says my hair can take it since I've never done anything like color or do chemical stuff) but I don't know. My mom suggested a curl cream or gel since I told her I just basically want to get up and go and not have to blow dry it since I have so much and so thick hair that it takes me almost a half hour to blow dry it (and it's only about 3" past my shoulders!) and then straighten it.
