Friend issue, need objective point of view?

Some people need you to be the invites to go out and do things could be he's to shy to ask . Also Some people are not good at showing their emotions or how they realy feel. He said your like a brother to him that's a guy friends way of telling a guy friend that he luvs and cares about ya like a brother. Start inviting him to hang out more outside of school and he will start to invite you out more. Like over to ur house. And play vid games or whatever u guys like to do. Go fishing idk go to the mall idk whatever you to like to do make plans to do it
