How Long Until I See Results? HELP STRESSING?

Sooo i just finished 3 weeks of working out.. and not seeing results. i just want to know when i will start seeing all my hard work start to pay off. Soo i pretty much workout at night and occasionally ill work out in the afternoon-when i wake up- it is summer. 3 of those days i do Strength training 3 sets each. Then finish off with 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. And then 2 of those days i do 30 minutes yoga and then 30 minutes of the elliptical. Is there any really good exercises i should try? I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but i feel like i really need to, to feel more confident with myself. How can i melt off this fat Ive put on? Also, i don't really know where to start with my diet... i need help with that, and since it is summer its a bit hard to stay on track. BUT if i learn somethings- not just from what Google says then hopefully it will give me some confidence knowing that what i am doing is actually going to work.
